A resolution which will authorize the County of Hawaiʻi, Public Access, Open Space, and Natural Resources Preservation Commission (PONC) funding towards the preservation of Kiolakaʻa was considered by the County Finance Committee at the Finance Committee Meeting and received a favorable recommendation.
On Wednesday, August 04, the County of Hawaiʻi will be making a determination on whether to authorize PONC funding for this project. Once again, we will need both written and live oral support for the resolution.
Please consider submitting written testimony or registering to provide live oral support for Resolution 161 which will authorize PONC funds towards the preservation of Kiolakaʻa.
Written testimony and requests for live oral testimony via zoom must be submitted no later than Tuesday, August 03 by noon.

You will get a response with instructions on how to testify via zoom.
For oral testimony, the time limit is 3 minutes. There will be a ring at the 2.5 minute mark and a buzzer at the final 3 minute mark. The live zoom testimony for all agenda items will be received at the start of the council meeting at 9:00 am.
